JANUARY 26th, 2010
Nicklaus Gerlach is fighting for his life. He needs a life saving bone marrow transplant. Nicklaus is the 6 year old grandson of Denise Middleton, a dear friend of Papaw's. Nicklaus was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Philadelphia Chromosome Positive.

A match has not yet been found, as of January 26th, 2010. Time is of the greatest importance and that is running out.

Bone marrow registration event will be held at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Sat. Feb. 6th. PLEASE come to register via a simple test for Nicklaus. Donations will be received for the National Bone Marrow Registry on a free will basis. You do not have to give financially to sign up. Donations will be accepted and are more than welcome.

If you do not live in the Brownsburg area, you may also go to bethematch.com to sign up for the bone marrow registry. They will send you a mouth swab kit, you swab the inside of your mouth and send it back.

If you have any questions you can contact Denise Middleton at deniselmiddleton@yahoo.com or call 317-503-5796 or Jamie Bratcher at jbratcher3@ivytech.edu.
