Your Guide to Organizing a Motorcycle Ride
The Road to a Successful Event (67 Pages)

Papaw has authored a guide full of valuable information about organizing a motorcycle ride for charity. This information can be applied to any event, not just motorcycle events.

By purchasing Your Guide to Organizing a Motorcycle Ride you are the first step toward planning, creating and organizing a successful charity event. The rewards are many, and are measured not only by the amount of money raised, but also by increased community awareness for your cause. I applaud you for taking the initiative to make a difference by becoming actively involved with the motorcycling community in your area for the charity you have chosen to support.

This informative "How to" guide shares the ins and outs of the organizing process from beginning to end.

Your Guide to Organizing a Motorcycle Ride was written and designed as a guide to assist you with organizing a successful event. I use the word 'guide' because the information contained in this publication is not designed to guarantee the success of any event, but to motivate and 'guide' you on the road to success. Included in the pages of Your Guide to Organizing a Motorcycle Ride is a basic outline with tips, hints and advice on how to organize a ride from start to finish including; choosing a ride date, location, forming a ride committee, liability, getting sponsors and vendors, finances, routing, entertainment, bike show, field events and what happens the day of the ride - plus more!

Papaw has been involved with many successful events using the information he has written between the pages of this guide. Those events were not successful because of one person, but because of a team comprised of individuals, just like you, who cared enough to make a difference in someone else’s life. It only takes one caring person to get things started. That positive, caring attitude is contagious.

There are many wonderful charitable organizations that welcome your involvement and support. Do your homework. Select a worthy cause that is meaningful to you and touches your heart. Then reach out and touch others with your vision.

Anticipating the Future

I am currently in the process of writing three books of short stories I will be self publishing. My goal is to have these books available in 2009.

Consequences
What Nightmares Are Made Of

Two short stories with serious messages concerning alcohol, choices and consequences - including death.

The first story, Shattered Glass, is about a young couple who seemingly have a good life, until alcohol destroys their world along with the lives of a family they never even met.

The second story, Consequences, is aimed towards teens and the difficult choices they face each day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Challenges
Challenges is a book of short, motivational, inspirational stories based on columns I have written.

We all face challenges each and every day. A positive outlook and attitude will help get you past any and all challenges.

Challenges are like tree branches. Find the smallest branches in your tree of challenges and climb out on them. Don't be afraid to face the toughest ones.

You have to reach for success.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't Read it Alone
Don't Read it Alone is a book of short stories based upon scripts I have written. Three of the stories included in
Don't Read it Alone have been produced into shorts films. The Filmmakers, The Key and Don't See it Alone.

Also included are short stories entitled The Lights, The Boogeyman, The Child Within, Matthew and Steven, Sometimes They
Fall
and If a Tree Fell.

It may seem scary, but it isn't.
